First time at Pulau Ketam

Went to Pulau Ketam for food and photo shooting during the previous semester break with buch of my course mates.... for 23 years I lived, I never been there before although Pulau Ketam placed very near with my town, Klang......

Thesis Day in Starbucks Again...

Yup, thesis thesis and thesis.... the most attached thing to me for my next and also last semester besides than event ~!! Thesis required my to read more, research more and think more and sure my grey hair will pop out a few in the next few months....

But luckily my thesis supervisor Mr. C and I got a similar habit... we like Starbucks damn lot~! (I think la..) As some of my friends knew that I do like Starbucks coffee and their environment too.. the coffee's aroma filling the whole atmosphere of Starbucks always active my mind like drug (not a coffee addict though~!)

Most of the time I will be there with my research partner Yit Phing and together with other groups who also under Mr. C .... So that particular Starbucks will full of our noise discussing on PR role, gender, leadership and blah blah blah...~~! Not to mention we occupied at least 3 tables and 8 chairs inside Starbucks and most of the staff there I'd already knew~~

But today was kinda special. I brought my friends who already been alone in her house for almost 3 days and she going to have cabin fever soon.. So I decided to bring her to join our discussion with Mr. C and meet with some friends as well to cure her cabin fever..hahaa~~

Putrajaya Morning Trip

Actually this suppose to be a trip to Broga Hill, but unfortunately IT RAIN ~~!! my heart drop dead into a deep hollow that fill with nothing but emptiness and loneliness....

After having the most early breakfast near Semenyih, spontaneously we decided to go cycling at Putrajaya Botanical Garden... But when we reach there, due to the public holiday (Hari Raya) the Botanical Garden did not open.

It is like double shocked for those outdoor junkie like me and some of my friends. What to do, again spontaneously again we went to Putrajaya for a walk and some photo shooting. But things became worse when we saw a lot of Malays on their way to the mosque in Putrajaya (a multi millions mosque, pretty huge ya ~?) for their morning prayers since that day was their Hari Raya.

Many Malays taking photos here and there and of course as usual some Malays also like to sit in some corner and do nothing (what we call LEPAK). But what make us most uncomfortable is while I setting up my tripod and camera for group photo, they were teasing there on us. Kinda angry and would likely to give a big SLAP on their face. But it was their Raya and I don't think I able to fight more than ten of them (I'm not Ip Man le..)

But besides than that, we had a great time over there after we move to a less crowded area and shot lots of photos although some of Putrajaya facilities are not well in maintaining.

After Putrajaya, we decided to head to KLCC to visit the books fair happening over there. I like morning driving + holiday because not much cars on the road since many Malays already balik their kampung. Never have such smooth drive on KL road ever ~!

Not much photo after that but really enjoying walking around there. Although the main objective was not able to achieve but still we had a GREAT time over there.

Sem Break Trip at Sungai Klah Hot Spring, Sungkai Perak

Hello folks... as you know from my last post I'm having exam. And now I'm officially break from hellish exam period and enjoying my sem break (with my thesis in hand !@#$%^&*)

This week Monday I went to Sunggai Klah Hot Spring at Sungkai, Perak to celebrate 4 of my friend's birthday. Seriously I never know that got such a heavenly place exist in Malaysia... I totally felt in LOVE for it... for sure I will revisit there once more... ( NO MATTER HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS)

We rent a villa over there, the first step me and my folks steped inside, the first word that came out from their mouth was " wahhhhhhhhhh~~~~" .. Yes u guess it, it was BEAUTIFUL ~~! The villa included 1 living room, 3 sleeping rooms, and 1 kitchen

After the birthday celebrations to 4 birthday girls of the months, we continue out party and drinking session. No more photo after than due to extreme "stuns" and "graphics" during that session, hehehe....

The next day morning partially of the gang going back first due to they have an appointment with their thesis supervisor. The rest of the gang who still staying here went to the big pool again and I was too tire + bit hung over (I was not drunk and I'm did not vomit) + headache, so I decided to go back to sleep.

After that we are packing and heading toward the hot spring to boil some eggs.

While packing, I saw this big yellow moth with an owl like pattern on its wing.

After 7 minutes, the eggs were cook, seriously the eggs that cook with this boiling hot spring water were so DAMN GOOD man ~~!!!

In conclusion, this place was a BIG satisfying from us although we only stay there for 1 day 1 night, I certainly will go there again, again, and again... (only 1 hour plus driving mah..)

I'm having a great time over there, thanks to those who planning this trip and celebrations, thanks to those who bought such many good food, thanks to Christine Tan again for the steambot and thanks to the you all for everything ~~! Love you guys so much ~!!

A Lovely Friend of My

Last few weeks I develop this photo of my friend using Adobe Lightroom. It is my first attempt to edit and beautify a portrait shot.

Seldom have the chance to post her photo on my Facebook or blog because she always said she is not photogenic or not pretty. But somehow in these few years we manage to brainwash her (hehehe~~) and force her to take more shots and the result turn out quite good.

She getting more and more "Camwhore-ing" and expose to more and more photos. Moreover, there is not much time we can spend free time gather and hang out together since our college time is about to end.

As a friends of her for almost 4 years...I can see how she change physically (trust me, she changed damn lot !!) and what remain is she always the smart, clever and talented one among us..

Yeah, I've been MIA for almost 3 months since my last entry of my blog... Stuffs non-stop continuing flooding my schedule, reports, assignment, thesis, weekly homework, and a bit of slacking off...

So how are you my dear reader... I bet your guys already fed up for my late entry of my blog...never mind, will try to bring it back to live again.

So what the hell I am doing now? For my readers under the same course with me or study under the same college, you guys sure know now is the EXAM PERIOD ~~! hell yeah...~~!! As usual, study till very very late where sometimes I do forget to sleep or not to due to overflow of notes to be understand (understand only, not memorize)

I bet no one likes exam right? me either... I more prefer practical works than exam. Exam there are not environmental friendly and certainly not human friendly due to the amount of stress it will cause to human being. But too bad in Malaysia exam serve as an important role of setting your level of knowledge (yeah, my ass~~!)

My study style? well memorizing certainly not my style. I more to understand it, by using my very own words I will try to express those theories and points... MY WAY~~! plus a little bit of memorizing la.. This will not bring me to good result of course because what I expressed sometimes do not understand by others.

Well in the end, I wish those who having exam, Study Hard, Study Smart....Good Luck and God Speed ~~!!

KITA The Musical

Hi folks, before I get into my topic, I would like to apologize for the slow update for my blog. It was my final year of studying in college and tons of reports, assignment, research and MORE need to be done. It was a very stress year and I have to spend more time in study than surfing online like I used to do last time. (Don't play play ah...fail liao can't go UK le...)

So I hope you guys can understand my situation by stop thinking I got no more mood in blogging. I love to blog but I got no time to blog...sad...

Ok lets get into the topic. For folks who enjoy any musical concert, here is your chance to get to listen KITA The Musical, organized by Musical On Stage Production, Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Intergrasi Nasional, Kementrian Penerangan, Komunikasi dan kebudayaan, Istana Budaya and Xiyue Arts & Cultural

This musical was inspired by 1 Malaysia and this story revolves around 3 boys of different races in the early 1970s of Teluk Intan with big dreams and hopes and along the way we see them going through love, struggles and finally achieving their dreams. For more information, click HERE

KITA The Musical will be helf in Istana Budaya from 17 June to 27 June 2010. Seating is located at different prices and good news for students, you only need to pay RM 15 for the show ~~!!

After you watch the show, do hang around at the exhibition that organized by IACT College that showing the KITA's art works, design and more based on the them of the musical.

Lissa's 21st Birthday 2010

Lissa's big day was near... the only 21st birthday in her life... and we must make it BIG& SURPRISE for her ~! although we make it abit earlier... on Monday ~! (suppose to be on this Thursday)

Since the classes for that day (Monday) were canceled and me, Mich and Cindderin went to Pavilion quite early to buy cakes for Lissa and also spend our extra time by watching Prince of Persia movie, having cup cakes at The Loaf, and Starbucks...

After done with our coffee drinking session, we head to Nagomi Restaurant at Menara Hup Seng for the surprise celebration.

We competing each other to avoid being the last with lowest score. And guess who was the LOWEST ..??

It was a very enjoyable night at the bowling alley and I think we kinda addicted to bowling. Maybe we can organize a course bowling competition for APR2, haha ~!

After bowling we head to Taj Corner at Genting Klang for our mamak session (I realized I ate alot that day). And after mamak, we plan to have our drinking night at Sim's place. But no photo and video allow to post online for reputation problem. But that night was very FUN~~! weeee ~!!

Youth'10

Last Saturday went to Malaysia Youth'10. It was the first time I went for such event where I can't really find the point of this event, maybe I dumb & stupid enough to discover the current youth trend...

Most of their activity look attractive (remember, look only), but in the matter of fact, only few cat my attention such as: 3 on 3 basketball, futsal, and the rock show (especially the part where the band "Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob".

Other that that their booth and activity were not catch my eye at all, seriously... got 1 booth was fried and selling keropok ikan at the exhibition hall (indoor), I wonder, how it will bring benefits to our youth? By asking them :" Hey, sell keropok as you future career, it might bring great income for you and make you a billionaire ~~!"

Anyway, it was a good efford to make such pointless event in such size. Good job on that ~! Lets enjoy some photos I shot during the whole day. Not much for the Youth thing since nothing worth me to shoot.

The only activity of this event was the rock show and the best part where the band "Once Upon A Time There Was A Sausage Named Bob" live on the stage. I enjoy shooting photos during that moments ~! because they ROCK ~!!

After dinner session we straight went to Hulu Langat Look Out Point to have our lim teh session there. The view there always that PRETTY. Can't resist my self to took a few shot over there and of cause a group photo ~!

It was a pretty damn super hyper mega giga enjoyable night with my them, they all are crazy that night (except during the Youth'10 event, not really enjoy there).

Ipoh Trip

Last week Saturday I went to Ipoh along with my coursemate. The ojective of going there... eat, visiting, and eat. Since that day some of my friends got class until 4pm, so we depart from Setapak around 4.30pm and reach there around 7pm.

After 2 hours driving, 160++ KMs, finally we arrive !!

After we had our dinner, we head to Chee Teng's house (the local Ipoh girl of our class, hehe) and have some rest and bath there before we head to the cinema. Yeah, our late night activity was watching the latest Shrek movie at Ipoh.

Well not much photo after that then. We went for movie, then head to hawker stalls to have our supper and after that we back to our "hotel" and have a good night sleep. But end up we din sleep early since we having our pillow talk session until 5am.

The second day in Ipoh, we went to the had Dim Sum as our breakfast and I think most of you know Ipoh was famous for it. Another thing that famous in Ipoh was all the caves in Ipoh and we decided to pay them a visit after our Dim Sum breakfast

After visit those caves, we have some rojak and salted chicken as lunch, then we head back and have some rest before we drive back to Setapak. Its another 2 hour drive at night, so I need some rest to able me to drive back to home.

After we had enough rest, we went for McD drive throught and had our dinner in the car while driving back home.

Don;t try this at home. It was dangerous while driving, drinking and shooting photo at once.

It was a nice trip, I missed thier food alot until now I'm still kinda craving for them

Wish I could visit there one more time and eat, eat and eat all the way in Ipoh'

By the way, all those evening sky scenery was taken by my friend using my camere. She was bored for the 160++ KMs trip.

Langkawi Day 3

Yup, last day in Langkawi. Was packing everything once we had our breakfast. My bag was weighted 15kg because I put all the chocolate, dirty sweaty wet cloth inside.. and my bag was so damn big !

So, after settle everything and checked out out hotel, we head to the Langkawi Wild Life Park. Since my memory card almost full, the photos I shot in the park was mainly on the wild life only. Here the photos of the animals there.

After wild life park we also visited the famous Mhasuri Tomb of Langkawi. Actually nothing much to see there for the ticket price of RM5. But some of my friends do know the famous tale of Langkawi Island. Don't have any photo at Mhasuri Tomb since now camera allow there.

The Mhasuri Tomb was our last destination before we head to air port and wait for our flight back to Subang.

I'm so glad and happy I joined them for this trip. It was a very good trip and I do wish in future will have more to come !!

Langkawi Day 2

Day 2... I woke up kinda early around 6.45am. After took my bath and prepare all the gears for today activities: Cable car, skybridge, and 7 wells water fall.

After we had our breakfast buffet, we head to the cable car station where located same with oriental village and skybridge. The oriental village was not as nice compared to my first visit 6 years ago. But it still an attraction point of Langkawi and sell lots of souvenir.

So we pay the cable car ticket for cable car and queue up (everyone would like to visit the famous skybridge and the cable car was the only way to reach there, no wonder it was "jammed" la..) . It was a very long queue but it moved kinda fast to reach our turn to ride the cable car.

While waiting for the queue, I took a few shots of my friends and some other nice things.

After awhile its our turn to ride the cable car. I rided a cable car before at Genting so I believe the feeling is almost the same with Genting. The only different was the fascinating view.

There was a middle station between our journey to skybridge. The middle station served as a resting point by selling food, drinks, as well as providing toilet for those who felt uneasy on high altitude and wanna puke, ha !!

We took a few shots in the middle station and I discovered them... lovely mother and her daughter.

After some rest in the middle station, we queue again for the next cable car to reach our destination, the skybridge

nope, this was not the cable car we going to ride but I do very eager to give it a try (but I can't, aiz)

When we reach the last station, it took a few walk to reach the skybridge. The "road" to the skybridge was not easy but still ok for my leg condition and I able to carry my tripod and all my camera gears along to the skybridge. After few minutes walk we finally reach the bridge.

The bridge was not so long was it was shacky when the wind blowed toward the bridge. The bridge was full with visitors and my mind keep imagining the situation when the bridge collapse (stupid mind...make me crazy sometimes)

don't get fooled by the chilling fog, the bridge was kinda hot and I sweat like hell

the fog make the bridge unvisible and bad for the camera man like me, but luckily it only last awhile untill the view turned clear

After skybridge, we head back down to the oriental village and had KFC as our lunch. And shot some photos along side to the KFC restaurant at Telaga Habour

After lunch at KFC, we head to the 7 Wells water fall. I did not bring my camera there so I can'tWe climbed a very long staircase (at least 500 steps) to reach the water fall. But since Langkawi already 1 month didn't rain, so I assume you guys can imagine the water fall situation there. But I still enjoyed there, see peoples doing crazy stuff and a great view over there.

7 Wells was our last destination of the day. After that we head back to our hotel and bath, then we head to the Eagle Square and had our dinner there and took some shots at that place. The photos over there was kinda bad because I forgot to bring my assistant Mr.Tripod and I need a long exposure to capture a good photo. Langkawi Day 1

Hehe, recently really not much mood to blog because my new sem just started and first day of class already got assignment and I know I still have some queues for my blog, especially my Langkawi trip.

Ya, I just back from Langkawi not long ago.. it was a crazy trip, shot tons of photos (around 1.4k of photos, but left 1.1k after filtered), bought lots of chocolate and drank lots of liquor. And I very agreed that there are much differents when travel with friends and with family. It will be more "free" if you go travel with friend compared to go with family and I really enjoy this trip.

I will split my post into 3 days in my blog to avoid long and draggy post and also the post will be more photo oriented. ( a picture said 1000 words mah...)

I was so lucky and happy when I found out that the seat beside me is empty

After 1 hour like that we arrived our destination. After we retrived our bags, rented a car (we rented Toyota Innova to fit 8 of us) and check in to our hotel. We pland to visit Cenang Beach for some water sport. But before that, cari makan (lunch time) first.

One the way to Cenang Beach we saw a truck on the side of the shaddy road selling Laksa, Rojak and Cendol Pulut. So we decided to had our lunch there.

It was very sunny when we arrive our destination. But still got peoples who having sun bath under the sun and playing all those water sport. Due to over expose to the heavy sun light. We walk, sit and hang around the beach and wait for the sun to be abit "dimmer".

Actually the beach was quite "empty" because the sun shine direct above our head and the sea water was not so blue due to long term pollution by the visitors

Our first activity, parachuting (only RM40 per person). I was not able to show you the photo when I playing parashutting because the photo was taken by my friend's camera (and it doesn't mean I chickened out to play it)

Other than parachuting we also played banana boat where it was a excited but tiring activity because it was kinda tire when you need to climb back on the banana boat every time you felt from it.

After Banana boat, is time for kite flying. It was almost 10 years ago since my last kite flying (not really flying because that time I'm always can't make a kite fly). After flying some kites, is time to head back. But before that was photo shooting time.

Many people said that there is not night life in Langkawi (for those clubing leg, this is vital to them, kekeke), so we decided to make our own "party" at our room. We bought beer and snacks and start drinking around 10pm like that.

KL Shoot Out

Last Tuesday I went to KL with Michelle (my coursemate also my photography mate) for photo shoot and accompany Mich to buy her new 50mm f1.8 lens. Since it was a normal week days, so I assumed KL will be quite jammed and not much space for me to park my car...

So..... I took KTM (local train) to KL

KTM was not a "fast" option since I have to sit for 1 hour, pass so many stations just to reach KL sentral. And the seat was kinda dirty and I rather stand than sit. YES I stand for the whole journey to KL sentral.

I took a few shots in the train and this is the best...

But too bad the guy in front look kinda disturbing

After meet up with Mich at KL sentral, then we walk awhile to the Monorail station and make our journey to Plaza Low Yat (most of the IT and camera stuff are gather in that plaza). After we had our lunch and survey for few hour, Mich finally decided and bought her first lens. Me also bought something...

A lens case from Lowepro that cost me RM 79.... In first I thought of getting any pouch from cheap brand that fit my 55-250mm lens but after few days searching I still can't find any. So I have to get this one. It burn a hole in my pocket but I quite satisfy with its quality.

After we done our shopping, straight we start our shooting. We walk quite long and visited many places around that area include Pavillion. Here are the photos from my camera:

This is our first photographing trip together. She got a very "live" style photography instead a "dead" style photography, like my stlye is a "dead" style

I enjoy shooting photo with her. Actually this is the first time I ever go photo shooting with my friend

After few hour we exploring the KL city, suddenly Mich said her camera got a bug on the viewfinder. So I take off the lens of her camera and used a blower, hopefully I manage to blow it off. But who knows the bug was very deep inside the camera and I had make it worse by blowing more dust deep in the viewfinder. I felt so guilty.

We went to Canon shop inside Pavillion, hope they can help her to clean it. But the staffs there said Mich have to send the camera to Canon service center at Shah Alam. They can't do anything. I felt more guilty and down. But Mich still continue shooting inside Pavillion. I knew she felt upset but she still smilling at me and continue shooting at Harvey Norman.

And we were so lucky we saw a beautiful cute sweet girl who was one of the finalist of Miss Universe. There are other finalist there but this is the best one, her name is Zoe Lee and she just a student from Business Management. Too bad I can't get a clear shot of her.

She was the only one friendly enough to smile at us. The other finalist look so ignorance and pretend to be "high class"

Ok, basically thats all for my KL trip. We went home after visit to Pavillion because we want to avoid the crowd at 5pm. And this is the last photo I shot

Chee Teng 21st

Opps... sorry for the late late late update on my blog.. was busy and lazy recently.. cause got lots of activity for me to attent, including baby sitting my nephew..haha

Well last Saturday we celebrated Chee Teng's 21st birthday at Greenbox at Sungai Wang.... It was a surprise party (sort of since she guessed we will do so) and we had lots of fun in that place. We had 2 sing K sessions and they were sang like hell. I used they cause I didn't really a singing person.

How I know her? well it quite a long time ago during our Faces of Malaysia event. She a funny girl cause she always tell jokes to us (sometimes not so funny lo, kekeke) yet she also a clever girl who good in study as well. Another thing I knew from her was she and her boyfriend is the "popular" couple among our classmate cause we always hanging around with this couple all the time !!!

Here some message for you Chee Teng: Happy 21st Birthday !!! 21st liao.. can go casino liao... officially adult liao.. was always pleasure and happy to know you.... you was such a good friend to me (and funny too). Wish you all the best and do invite me when you getting married...

Yes, finally I waited for so long. After 3 months of suffering systematic life, at the my last day of internship finally reach.

YES !! TODAY is The Day.... my last day of intern. Don't get it wrong, I like my job, I like the company, I like the people there, But what I don't like is the very systematic life. You know typical working life la, everyday are just same.

Well basically this time internship, I learned lots of thing and one of it is since working, my weekend had became so PRECIOUS !!! I will make sure I fully utilize my weekend before start back the boring systematic life.

In the end, I wish my coursemate who end their internship today have a nice 2 weeks holiday before our new semester start. And for those who start their intern late, or extend the internship, be patient, your turn will come in the end..kekeke

Full Moon

YES !! Yesterday was 28th April 2010. Why yesterday was important to me? Well as I mentioned in last post "Moon", I said 28th April is the day where full moon hanging on the sky and is a great opportunity for me to shoot it.

Well of course I will not forget my lovely "dating" with the moon. Luckily yesterday the sky was very clear with no cloud at all. And there even some bright stars hanging along side with the moon. But too bad the stars were too small for me to shoot. Here are the photos I shot yesterday.

See how clear the detail is. I kinda impressed.

Well I very happy that I able to get a clear shot of the moon. Of course my 55-250mm lens was no match for those super telephoto lens where can zoom until 800mm (FYI: the Canon EF 800mm f/5.6 IS USM lens cost around RM 55,000) where can get a very very detail shot of moon.

Well for my next night sky shooting, I hope I can shoot a group of stars, such as the Milky Way and I hope my wish will come true.

My Feet !!!

As you know I got a very serious case of flat feet. For those who don't know what is flat feet, here the explanation.

Flat feet a.k.a fallen arches is an formal reference to a medical condition in which the arch of the foot collapses, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground. (adopted from Wikipedia)

I will leave such an interesting footprint when I walk on the sandy beach with these feet

I have no arches in both of my feet

My condition was so serious that it already affect not only my feet, but my ankle, knee, pelvis and almost half of my backbone. Actually it shouldn't be that serious, but due to my constant over use my body while I played basketball during secondary school time, it cause me in such condition.

I'd seen many doctors and professionals, most of them ask me to get a custom made shoe or buy the artificial arch that can fit on my shoes. I don't want the custom made shoe because the design basically is not that nice. So first I choose to wear the artificial arch.

One of the doctor suggest me to get a custom made in-sole from Foot Solution. They measuring your whole feet and custom made just the in-sole that only fit yourself according to your feet. In first I don't wanna try that because you know the price to make a custom made product. The custom made in-sole was so expensive.

Then after awhile my dad also face some feet problem (not flat feet) and he decided to get a custom made in-sole from Foot Solution. So we both decided to get one of those. After some consultancy and some measuring on a weird looking machine, after 1 week our very own custom made in-sole is here.

This is my, the big size 9 in-sole.

It feel kinda comfy when I wore it and have a walk in the shop. I never feel that I walk so "normal" since I never walk in a correct posture since I was young. I felt a lot stable and balance while I walking and the in-sole added additional 1 inch tall. YES the in-sole is 1 inch thick.

Since I got no arches on my feet, so my in-sole will have a very high arch

It stated there custom milled

I do hope this in-sole will help me get a better walking position and eventually cure all my bone problem. But this in-sole will not cure my flat feet permanently. The only solution might just be operation.

Moon

Don't you think the moon is a very pretty object? It can be consider the biggest shining (but not shining by itself la...) object you can found in the dark sky of almost every night.

Of course I can't resist my self shooting at the moon after I got my 55-250mm lens. It is not full moon yet but still I find the moon that night is fascinating. But too bad the photo taken was not so nice as what I imagine. Besides that there were many clouds blocking me "dating" with the moon.

But still the result is satisfying, I still can some details of the moon surface. After I get a few shot, straight away I go and edit and added some pretty effect such as showed in the photo below.

Although I using a 55-250mm lens but still the moon is not big enough even I'd zoom it as far as I can. So no choice I have to crop it like hell to make it look bigger.

I hope the moon is bigger in this month 28th because it is full moon !!! Can't wait to take the shot...

Dinner at Osaka

On Wednesday my family went celebrate my younger brother's birthday by having dinner at Osaka Japanese Restaurant.

No at bad place for me... the design, the deco all looks like traditional Japanese style restaurant. The food of course is far better than Sushi King, Sakae Sushi or whatever those big franchise chain stores.

Of couse I will order all the favorite food and Sushi, like Inari, Kappa Maki, Tamago, California Roll, Teriyaki Bento and so on... I ate alot that night...

Besides that, my nephew follow too and it was his first Japnese food ever... He kinda excited that day too... keep crawling here and there, I can't resist to shoot photos on him...

That day everyone going back home with a full stomach.... The price in Osaka Restaurant also not that expensive... only RM 230++ for 6 paxx, but we order food for more than 6 paxx can eat... so it is very worth the $$ you paid...

Is been a long time since the last post I blog about my nephew. Well here the latest update of my nephew. After 12 months (almost 1 year old)

He kinda tall and big for a 1 year old baby, and he is extremely strong for that age. He can grip and lift a full un-open soda can with one hand. His leg can give a quite heavy kick (I "ate" his kick for few times in the stomach). Not only physical, but mentally he is strong too.. in the other word clever but for me he rather tricky, hehehe...

New Lens !!!

I got surprise when I got home this Monday. The lens I wanted to buy had arrived to my house. YES the Canon EF-S 55-250mm telephoto lens !!!

At first I thought of going to buy the lens together with my classmate, also a photography hobbyist since she also wanted to get a EF 50mm f1.8 prime lens in the end of April. But somehow when my little brother went to my dad's friend camera shop to buy his Olympus EPL-1, he ordered the lens from the shop.

(p/s: Mich, I still will go to buy lens with you la, I want to get a lens hood during the day we go buy your lens. )

So I got the new lens and I can't wait to give it a try. Below are the photos shot using the new lens...

Yesterday I was doing news monitoring and I saw this. The news is about a college student earn a monthly income of RM 7000 by joining some sort of direct sales company. And this student drive a sport car to college every day.

Well in first there are nothing wrong with this news because many college students now are doing direct selling. But what I saw later is the main point for this post...

Those who know how to read Chinese I'm sure you know what I mean for the red underlined text. For those who can't read Chinese, here the translation: " A friend who join the direct sales company, was able to earn RM 7000 per month, and was driving a Failady sport car "

Ivanlogy In Photography

Someone ask me why I'm spend all the money to buy all those camera stuff, got travel, shoot photo... why not saving money for invest on whatever mutual fund or whatever to earn money for your future family.... Some even said photography is my future so that I can make money from shooting weddings, events, etc....

But I never agree that photography will be my future as a main source of income, but I will make sure I will fully utilize my skill and my camera to capture every single precious moment of my and others....

Well human beings always thought their live is to grown up,study, EARN & SAVE MONEY,getting married, having children, take care of your children and work for you whole life for family where I totally agree with that, but what I done more and different from others was I'm just simply adding some photography to capture every single moment of my life and frame it and make it stay forever... Doesn't that worth for me to invest into photography

New Shoe

I wonder do you still remember that I said my sport shoe (basketball shoe) was spoiled after climbing Broga Hill last time? Then do you remember I said that I no longer able to do sport, especially basketball in my "basketball-less" post?

Well almost most of my friends, including thought I will not buying another sport shoe after my Nike Flight basketball shoe spoiled. But guess what, I bought a brand new Adidas basketball shoe !

I in loved with this shoe once I saw it displayed on the rack... The white base with grey stripes attracted me and make me eager to buy it. In my common sense I should not buy a white color shoe especially white colored sport shoe because it get dirty easily. But I started to like white shoe since I bought my Nike Air Force One colored in white base with red and grey stripes that I bought in Hong Kong 2 years ago.

Moreover, since I will be very less involve myself into sport, so a white color shoe should be long lasting and stay it's whiteness.

By the way, anyone know any remedies for cleaning white shoes (either cloth or leather shoe), please share with me because I have some stubborn stain on my favorite Nike Air Force One ! Please do share with me by leaving comment in my chat box or in this post. I would like to say a million thanks first for those who share with me !!

The Proud of APR1

Ok, I skipped many post and straight jump to this story because I want to keep this post as hot & fresh as possible since this just happened yesterday and it just made most of APR1 (soon to be APR2) proud.

YES, one of our photo from our SOS Earth event that organized by APR1's student had made the front page on one of the supplement of The Star newspaper, Star Special Higher Education.

The story featured in this page were some of our event that done by School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) Mass Comm unit. And of course mostly was about the events that organized by PR students.

From the photo above you can see me (in the dead center of the photo) have the most "proportion" in the photo...kekekeke ! I might be famous because The Star have 304,904 circulation of paper and over million of readership daily.

I scanned the page, but the photo was not really clear, not to mention the words too. But this is the best I can do, if you want to read the whole news, please do refer to yesterday (14th April 2010) The Star newspaper, under Star Special.

I personally felt very proud, not because of my face appear on the paper, but it show our hard work for our event had finally pay off. And I hope this will and break the mindset of other who think that PR is a "very easy to study" subject and never think that we are professional, where for them they only see doctor, engineer, lawyer, etc were professional but not PR.

Since my mom until now still do not understand what the hell I'm studying and doubt I can get a good job in future. I think I can show off this to my mom...hehehe

Burned a Hold In My Pocket

Guess what is this??

Its a tripod !!

The WF-531 professional tripod that manufactured by a China brand named WeiFung

I kinda impressed by their quality from a China branded tripod. I only cost me RM 140 where I consider is very cheap compare to those famous brand where they sold around RM 500 - RM 600 for a similar tripod. But branded do have their own benefits but I satisfied what I bought.

The minimum length for the tripod is 60cm

After extend is 1.5 meter

It has a ball head mount that allow me for more flexibility angle

At first I saw another tripod (WF-591) which is 20cm shorter and it is more portable and good for travel usage. So I contacted the dealer for better price if I take 2 of WF-591, and deal with the dealer, it was RM 200 per each WF-591 tripod. But after I discussed with my friend who also need a tripod, but int he end she rejected because it was over her budget and the dealer cannot sell it for RM 200 if I just take 1 tripod only.

Then after few days I saw a guy was selling his WF-531 tripod for RM 140 and it is NEW due to some reason for that guy he bought the WF-531 for the ball head but end up it is not suitable. So he sell it RM 20 cheaper and I BOUGHT IT ~~! although it is 20cm longer.

The tripod is sturdy compared to my previous tripod, the only problem is the weight which is 1.4kg but the weight for me is not a problem.

Although it is 20cm longer, but small enough to attach to my camera bag

Oh before I forget, congratz my little brother! He just got his "reward" for scoring 10 A's in his SPM exam. And the reward is the new Olympus EPL-1 4:3 system digital camera with 12.3 megapixel.

Well I don't know much in 4:3 camera but I do know it is a very good camera. Hope he use it well and build his interest in photography because this camera is way too expensive among the compact camera. It is even more expensive than ma DSLR camera, but before I upgrade all my flash and lenses, hahaha !

The Olympus EPL-1

Will try to dig my self in to the camera if I got chance but I don't think I will. I don't want get addict to another type of camera.

Remembered last time when you wanted to shoot a photo at a CRT monitor (the bulky type), you will saw a lots of "strips" in the photo. Well this no longer happen in the new teachnology, the LCD Monitor. See how clear the shot is !

Let's Talk MV In Ivan's Way

One day I saw my friend shared a video in Facebook.

Many people must be thinking "wow, fat people running ah, so funny le"

But for me what attracted me was not the fat man running, but the music. I commented my friend's link asking whats the name of the song and seem no one was able to answer my question. So after few days of searching and digging on the cyberworld... FINALLY I found it !

It was a song from Nujabes, a Japanese rapper and the song name is Luv (sic) part 2 (weird name, ha!). The full music video was just a few peoples in a very weird expression and "disoriented" and the most interesting part is the whole video was shot in slow motion. The camera they used was a high speed camera, around 1000 frame per second.

Personally for me I think this might be the best music video I ever watched. Although the video is simple, nothing special, but it is creative and you can feel the song from the video. Compared to other music video it is incomparable.

A typical U.S and U.K type of music videos are all about sexy chick dancing (for most of the rapping song like 50 cent, Snoop Dogg ), rocking videos where all the band members playing their instrument there and also abit of loving here and there (almost all the band la). These kinda of videos are the majority type and of course they came out something quite creative and impressed me as well.

A typical Chinese or Taiwanese in more specifically and easy to be categorized compared to English music videos, their videos almost the same for like 10 years? Well I can name a few typical video from Chinese music industry as example:

eg 1.
The video is about the main character love this girl, and this girl also fall in love with the main character also. But when they start coupling, then the 3rd party came in and the video was love here love there, the characters in the video crying here crying there and in the end die here and die there. Its like watching the whole drama in just 5 minutes.

eg 2.
Type 2 of video is bunch or group of handsome guys or pretty girls who have a very fancy name like Fahrenxxxx or S.x.x or Super xxxxxx. Their video are typical dancing around, singing here and there.

eg 3.
Type 3 are the worse, imagine you enjoying the music video half way suddenly a drama slotted in telling the story for awhile then continue to sing again. Then sing awhile and then another short drama slotted in. So in the end a simple 5 minutes song will eventually become a short movie for around 8 to 10 minutes.

YES !! is very obvious I giving out bad comments those Chinese videos and abit of English videos and their music as well with my big mouth canon. I know some of you will hate me for comment at their beloved artist but what I said are based on my observation and my own opinion. By the way some Chinese song do have some great music video, just consider very rare.

In the end I hope this post will entertain you and for my haters, hope this post make you even more hating me... PEACE !!!

It might just be another boring and uneventful week

Yup, another new week just started and another week less due to the end of my internship. Yeah I do really hope I can end my internship faster so I do not have to wake up at 6am in the morning to be ready and go to work.

You ask me why I'm wake up so early since my office open at 9am? Well of course is to avoid the traffic jam especially near the Petaling Jaya area where is the most congested area in Klang Valley. Yup I do avoid unnecessary jam in some major road but still I facing the jam at Damansara Toll which is a bottle neck road where around 10 lanes of car is being "squeeze" into 2 lane legally or 4 lane illegally. So much thank you for our GREAT Malaysia road planner. They really spare me lots of time to jam in the middle of the road and enjoying the sun raise !

Well what I doing since I gt plenty of time when I reach my office building? Well sometimes I will playing my PSP, or turning on my laptop and start Facebook-ing or blogging, and sometimes I take a little nap too.

Don't know how to said, my lifestyle had changed since my internship started. I used to sleep at 3am and wake up at 12pm in the afternoon even sometimes didn't sleep at all. But now everyday I slept at 12am and wake up at 6am. Moreover I used to combine my breakfast and lunch together before my internship, but now I'll make sure I had my breakfast either in my car or McD near my office. Well basically this are the 2 major changes in my lifestyle.

Other than lifestyle, some how the way I thinking seem changing as well, to which direction I'm not so sure and is it turn into good or bad? I doubt also. I waiting my friend to give me the answer after my new semester start, kekeke !

Well after typing and nagging so long here, it is obviously I have not much thing to talk about in this post, just some daily life of my. Don't really have much event happening in past few days and I predicting the same for this week.

The only special event happened in last Thursday was my dad's new ride was arrive and he seem pretty damn HAPPY about his new ride. CONGRATS to my dad. I still doubt whether want to post some photos of my dad's new ride in my blog because I don't want the HATER spamming my e-mail and complaint bout me showing off my cameras , PC stuff and now, my dad's car (wei! come one, it is not even my car le. By the way don't know who is showing off his new lens and car le? I just driving a cheap Myvi)

Sometimes I just wondering the different between sharing and showing off. My dear readers, am I showing off here? Well me personally think that for HIS point of view, I'm am showing off to to him, who was very "su beh ki" in term in other things I knew are better than HIM (ceh ceh ceh ~!! praise my self pulak, hahaha), even he using GOOD lens. (ha! padan muka, come spam my e-mail la !)

But I do hope YOU go improve your self la since you have such GOOD lens, if not you better donate your lens to poor people like me, muahahaha !

Well hope my last few paragraph do not really offend to some of my readers la, cause it basically meaning less if you are not HIM. And also it might just out of topic already, hehehe

In the end, the weather now is kinda "funky", do drink more water and don't get your self sick !

GOdinner For The Leaving Interns

Wednesday (31 of march) was the last day for 2 interns in my office. Intern Li Chuen & intern Amelia. So that day we having our farewell dinner at Mom's Place Restaurant.

Although they were in different team with me but we worked together sometimes such as news clipping. Moreover, Li Chuen also a photography leg (kaki) and Amelia is a friend of my coursemate (this world is getting smaller, meet friend of friend where ever I went).

We ate together, we chats together and shot loads of crazy photos at the restaurant because we have 1 SLR & 2 DSLR cameras, 1 Holga, 2 iPhones and 2 digital compact cameras to took all the shots. Monster Graphic Card

I was doing house keeping for my PC yesterday, and I found some photos of my new graphic card that I bought few months ago. I shot these photos for blog but end up I totally forget bout it =.='

Few months ago me and my little brother decided to upgrade our PC to next level by upgrading our graphic card. Only this time I asked him to do the research instead of me because I no longer that addicted to PC games anymore, so any graphic card better than my Asus 512MB 8500 GT will do.

So after few days, my brother told me he make the order already. And when to gear arrived, I was kinda shocked. It was Gigabyte GTX 260 Super Overclock !! This "monster" running on the nVidia GTX 260 chipset with 896MB DDR3 RAM, full HD, HDMI and it can combine with 2 or more same graphic cards and run it together for better performance if you have enough space in your casing.

Of course from the words overclock mean it can be overclock for better performance. Those who don't know what the heck is "overclock", do Google it because I don't want end up a very long post and also being scold for not talking "human language"...

The term "monster" I used to describe this graphic card not only due to its performance and cost, it also describe the graphic card's size.... A normal graphic card is a size of an adult palm or slightly bigger than that. But this "monster" is twice the size of a normal graphic card and twice the thickness as well.

It barely fit my casing, I need to move my second hard disk and rearrange all the wire to make it just fit, JUST FIT only ~~!!

YES of course I was too excited to install but end up too excited and I forgot to read the manual. So after I installed this "monster" to my PC, I can on my PC as usual, but when I run a game with all the highest video setting, poof ~~! my PC off by itself. From the first sign of judgment, I know the power is not enough to run it.

I flip the manual, and guess what, this "monster" is a electric SUCKER ~! It need at least 550watt to run this "monster" and my current power supply only pump 220watt of power only. So what to do, have to upgrade the power supply as well lo.

I ordered 2 Cooler Master Extreme Power Duo 600watt power supply for me and my brother and in the end we manage to enjoy great graphic games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and Bioshock 2 with the highest video setting. woohoo~~!!

But every joy will comes with pain, on this time upgrade, me and my brother spent almost 1k EACH on these gadget. Thats the price we paid for good gaming experience, but does it worth ? definitely YES !!

By the way, I'm selling off my old Asus 512MB 8500 GT and iCute 220watt power supply, anyone interested do leave me a message and I will give you a good price, heee...

World Vision Operation Botak (Bald)

Well consider lucky to me because I do not know there will be this event at The Curve and luckily I brought my DSLR that day where the intention of me bringing the camera was not for this event but to shoot photos of Nottingham University at Semenyih but end up shoot nothing.

So I spot this event from 2nd floor when I first saw a cardboard tunnel that full of photos at the exhibition floor and many peoples was queuing to shave their head bald.

This was a great opportunity for me to practice my event shooting skill. So I told my family to go on to Ikea first and I'll will catch up later.

Basically there were 2 main exhibition area in this event. One is the photo exhibition tunnel which was the cardboard thing and another one is the "shaving" area where all the volunteer were shaving their head bald. Here some photos shot during the event.

Right, we knows Hitz.FM was giving out an Apple iPhone every weekdays in the whole March for the best Gotcha Call in the day. It was a very tempting but in first I do not have any person and story to Gotcha with, until the last week of March....

Andy, my photography friend, also the boyfriend of my classmate, was have some contact with me since the company I'm interning now asked me to find a photographer for our client. So I called Andy and it was a deal but many thing happened during the shooting, it was kinda messy from begining until the end. So I took this opportunity and set him up for a Gotcha, and hope I can win an iPhone.

On Monday, I filled up the details at the Hitz.FM web site, and just after 10 minutes after I sent, J.J from Hitz.FM Morning Crew called me and ask for more and plan to call Andy for the Gotcha after talking with me and this is the Gotcha between Andy and J.J

I have to admit Andy is a very patien, steady and calm person. It was very lucky for his girlfirend..Moreover, he still defending me in the end before he knew it was a Gotcha.. what a good guy...

Bioshock 2 Paper Dolls

Recently I just finish a great game called Bioshock 2, the story line was damn good, the graphic was damn good, the character was damn good and even their merchandise, the paper dolls from the characters in the game were damn good, and they are FREE...all you need to do is download from their web, print it, cut it and fold it.

I'd spent 2 nights to fold them, and the following photos are the result:

I felt quite satisfied with the result of this Bioshock 2 paper doll, I pretty enjoyed when folding these but I do frustrated few times when I folding the Little Sister. All About Love

At last, I able to do this after planned for half year. Yes, the love shape bokeh. I saw this DIY technique for quite a long time and planned to do it. Actually it is a very simply DIY project but why it took me half to implement it ? hmmm....

Actually after I finished the love shaped "lens hood" and started to shoot, I discover there was not much light in my house, the only light is the red lantern I hang as a deco for Chinese New Year.

I also try to get a few shots on my nephew with the table lamp, but I found it very hard to get a clear shot due to not enough distance between my 50mm lens, my nephew and my table lamp. So in the end, I decided to go blur...

Kenny Roger's Roaster Scholarship

Last Thursday I went to Berjaya University College of Hospitality (BUCH) and photographing the launch of Kenny Roger's Scholarship that located at the 14th floor inside Berjaya Times Square building.

This was the first time I visit BUCH and it doesn't look like a college for me. It is looks more like a hotel with high class restaurant that run by student. YES, STUDENT !! The student all are under courses related to hospitality such as hotel management, culinary, restaurant management and more.

They all look smart in the chef like uniform, walking in the lobby of the college, but instead call it as a college, I rather call it as a high class hotel. By the way, sorry for didn't really manage to show you guys the photos on their lobby because I didn't shoot it, I'd only shot the hall way I walked to the restaurant.

Enough for BUCH, back to my topic. Kenny Roger's Scholarship, they sponsoring RM 100,000 for all the student who taking hospitality related course. So who studying hospitality now, you guys can apply, if I not mistaken, it will sponsoring 4 person each time this scholarship open for application.

Well, just like normal launching, we invite media, guest and of cause VIPs, but what new for me was the launch was done in a fine dining restaurant.

After some prep, peoples from media, guest, Kenny Roger's supplier, staff from Kenny Roger's and BUCH and more were started to fill the restaurant.

When all the guest and VIPs reached, then the launching begins... Its a simple launching like those typical launch events. Introduction, VIPs speeches, formal launch ceremony and photo opportunities.

This photo appear on the media, the Sinar Harian newspaper on 22th March.

After all the ceremony done, we all were seated to have our Kenny Roger's Roaster quarter chicken set and muffin. After the main course, then they (the students) serving us the dessert and some tea and coffee.

The strawberry dessert, I have no idea what this dessert named but I only know it tasted GOOD !

After the launching and lunch, I was quite free to shoot photos and walk around and I discovered this while I found my way to the washroom...

Although this is not the first time I done a launching event, but this launch "teach" me some new experience that totally different from the previous launch event I done. Shot quite a number of photos and post-production all the photos straight after I reached the office in the same day cause need to send to the media.

Tony Roma's Wagyu Beef Burger Review

On 13 of March, the same week for the OALD launch I mentioned in last post, I have a food review session at Tony Roma's e@curve branch. My job there... shooting photos for their 5 latest Wagyu Beef Burger.

We actually invited 5 peoples to come and do the review, but in the end 3 of them were not free, and only 2 turn up. So including our team, total 5 peoples and another guy named Ryan from Tony Roma's have to finish up the 5 big burgers.

Of course me also got give a few bites la...who can resist when there were 5 big burgers with fries placed in front of you wo.... although I'm not suppose to eat beef due to my religion reason, and also I don't really like beef because it got some kind of smell and taste on beef that I don't really like. The only beef I ate and like it very much is from Chili's restaurant. Tony Roma's Wagyu Beef Burgers do not have those taste and smell too.

The burger was so big, we have to cut it into 4 small pieces. The meat is actually an inch thick

You can give it a try for the burger and you can share it with 2 or 3 person including you. This actually was my first food review ever, kinda satisfy with the food there, and in the end we all end up with a full stomach and a big smile on the face.

Launching of the 8th Edition Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary

Before I get into the topic, let me apologies for not uploading my blog for quite a time, I was busy for some events and some personal stuff, and I felt tire and bit lazy to blog after my working day and even weekend. Besides that, I will try to update the event I been gone through, and this is the first one, the launch of the 8th Edition Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, OALD in short.

Last week Thursday I went for the launching of OALD happened at the residence of British High Commission Kuala Lumpur. It is the first launching event I ever done and I was the photographer and helpers for my company during that event.

Actually not much for saying, just some VIPs, media, guest, student, mountain of dictionary and loads of photos...

I never see a dictionary been arrange this nice before

During the event, almost every guest is given a FREE copy of this dictionary which cost RM 89.90 with the CD that contain the software version of OALD and some cool feature where I thought it suit me very much. And YES, I DO have a copy for free too.. hahaha

Other than shooting photos, I also the designer for this event backdrop. I been working this out for almost 1 week because there are many editing here and there, but in the end the result was fantastic, and I never done something this big before (I think)

1 week of hard work, it may look simple, but trust me, it is not when doing it

And another thing that I quite happy is my photos shot during this event is publish in newspaper and some online news website.

Ok, for those who don't know my current status as in am I still studying, or am I working now.. well here a conclusive answer for all my friends, please do pass the message around to your other friend who know me, thx...

Well actually this is the first post ever I blog about my internship. And some of you... YEAH !! YOU... who really wana know what am I do during internship, here you are....

I currently work in a PR agency located "no far" from my house (Klang) and the company name is Go Communications. It is a small company but have loads of clients, and some of their client are BIG !!

How much I get pay? Well since I'm just an intern, my paid was not high, RM X00 only. cheap slavery..? (joking lah ! I enjoyed working here)

What is my job in the office? good question.. is time to let you all know what the heck exactly my job in the company. Well my job are:

compiling the media contact list and always keep it update
calling media to do confirmation of releases and invitation we sent all the time
research on latest media and also new media like blogs, podcast and so on
photographer, a good chance for me to introduce to event photographing
a bit of designing? recently working on a backdrop for a product launching which will be happening soon
IT support? fuiyooo, sound expert le... NO la, I just apply some of my IT knowledge and share with my colleague and try helping them over come some IT problem and sometime they also share something that I don't know too

I always thinking and thinking during office hour

Received my first package ever by a very good and nice media, what exactly inside??

Magazines, actually I just request for rate cards, but she so kind, send me 3 copies of the magazine and offer a presentation to me. I like her !!! (the attitude la !!)

And talk bout media, I discovered few thing on Malaysian media's attitude. I hate certain media cause they are so bloody freaking no manner and rude. Example of a conversation between me and a newspaper editor:

me: Hi good morning, am I speaking to Mr. XXX

XXX: YA !

me: My name is Ivan, from GO Communications, may I know you in charge for the upcoming MATTA fair supplement for XXX newspaper?

XXX: YA !

me: Well may I know when is the deadline for the supplement?

Online Shopping Spree

Recently done some shopping online while in office (not slacking off laa~~!) . Browse to my favorite websites and bought these stuff:

Original Lenspen, RM 25 (I saw this sold RM 75 in those normal camera shop ~!@#$% !)

Lens hood for my 50mm f1.8 lens, I not sure it does really block some glare or not, but since it is kinda cheap, so I get one for myself

And last thing I bought is a Bagman Snapshot Trekka, RM 260 (the most expensive bag I ever bought, I not sure RM 260 consider good deal or not, but is the cheapest among all the bag i ever saw for laptop+camera)

I like the Bagman logo, even the plastic wrap also got their logo, and yes I'm still keeping the plastic bag

Basketball-less

Ivan is officially out from basketball since my basketball shoe was officially spoiled. Kinda sad because that shoe (Nike Flight) served me since I was form 4. Got some spoiling in the middle of usage but it was all turn good after some gluing and it last for another 3 years.

Now after back from Broga Hills, the shoe (my only sport shoe, and first basketball shoe) spoiled, severely ... but the next sport show I will not but a basketball shoe again since I suffered some bone injured and deficient that force me to out from basketball.

So now I officially announce that I'm out from basketball (but will go throw few balls when I'm free laa)

New Chapter

Exam was just finish this week, it was a hell of a journey for reading journals, doing math, studying moral, memorizing cyber law cases but I do enjoying Mr.Johnny's English class.. he always having the best class ever !

Every time I should fell happy after exam because it is holiday, but this time different because the 1 week later straight my exam ended is my internship....

3 months of internship although is short, but still I'm a newbie to PR field, for sure will abit nervous and facing some environment shock. More over not only environmental, but also lifestyle: I have to wake up early in the 6am to prepare, then drive to the office (located at Bandar Baru).

For sure I will miss the life having class at college, meeting friends, hanging out, do this and that... well imagine for 3 months I can't really meet them.... well it is not really cheering me up....

Well anyway, wish all my friends happy intern, good luck in your working period... remember to play and enjoy while you work ! See you guys after 3 months !!!!

Hmm... I was thinking how these 3 months will be...

The Broga Hill

Went to Broga Hill after the end of my exam, well although it was not the first mountain or hill I had climbed, but it definitely the hardest mountain I ever climb.

One the way of climbing, I quite worry that my leg will fail since my leg got some problem on the foot, ankle and knee as well as my backbone. But luckily non of these problem appear...only some minor sore and pain.

Moreover, thanks to Bear Grylls from the Discovery channel in the show "Man vs Wild", I get to know some basic knowledge to climb and the proper way to adventuring on mountain, haha... But I certainly do not want to eat either larvae, ant, snake and frog like do..haha ~~!

Ok, when I writing this post, I'm still haven't figure out what title should I put for this post because this post is kinda spontaneous.

I currently at McDonald's restaurant, Bandar Utama and waiting for an internship interview at Go Communications, Centrepoint which located quite far from my house, Klang. It took about 45 minutes to reach here which the aid of GPS. The GPS does a good job but unluckily it can't show me the road that have no traffic jam.

My interview session booked at 10am, but 7am I already start driving so that I can avoid the jam but apparently I'm still stuck in the jam after the Damansara Toll. But the jam was not so serious since it still early that time (7.30am).

Around 7.45am, after a few missed turn, I'm manage to reach Centrepoint. It still kinda early, but what the hell, as long I avoid the jam at peak time. "7am depart from my house", this is what I planned to do if Go Comm accept me.

So now I'm sitting at McD's, having my breakfast and reading some journals and wait for the office to open, I planned to call the PIC, told her that I already reach, hope she can interview me early.

Ang Pau Money

OK.... now everywhere is under CNY mood now... CNY decoration at shopping center, CNY song all over the radio, TV and music store... even me who having exam now also under CNY mood (shopping for CNY cloths during exam, hehe)

One of the most exciting thing is ang pau money where most of the people have a good money planning after they get their ang pau money, me are one of that category, hehehe.....

What I gona buy using the ang pau money.... good question cuz I'd been asking my self this question recently...well here are the list that how I gona process my ang pau money:

1. Buy me a DSLR extension tube (without metal ring), it cost me only RM30-RM40, it a good value for shooting macro using my current lens

2. Buy me a couple of lens hoods, for both of my lens or at least for my 50mm because I discover lots of glare when I shooting at a light. This might cost me Rm45 - RM50

3. Buy me some lens filters, especially Polaroid filter for shooting sky photos, and some other filters that depend on what I need.

4. Buy me a Lens Pen for cleaning my lens, this stuff will cost me around RM40-RM50..maybe..

5. SLR camera strap, I like to customize things, so I think of getting my self one of these, by throwing my old uncomfortable Canon SLR camera strap and change it into on of these...kekeke, the price is unknown but I will try to survey around.

6. Ok this is still under consideration la, a Lowepro camera & laptop bag. This fellow is abit costly la.. the range of price for this bag is from RM400-RM600 which I think it is not so worth for money, yet...ha !

7. Ok this is only for fun, because I dun think my ang pau money can help me buying one of this. Its the Canon L series lens, 16-35mm, this might be my next next next next level to upgrade my camera equipments, it will cost me at least RM5000 ~~!!! I might buy me one of this if either I work with monthly salary at least 4K, or kena Toto... hahahaha...

In the end, other than the 16-35mm lens, and also the Lowepro camera & laptop bag, other stuffs still under my level of budget. By the way, for sure many people will say :" don't waste your money la !! save your money in bank la...."

Ofcuz la I always will save my ang pau money in my bank account d, partially...muahahahahaha!!!
